The chicken to be vaccinated is hold horizontally by assistant with one eye facing the vaccinator. The vaccinator should hold the head of the bird and open the eye with the thumb and fore finger of one hand. One hand should hold the eye dropper vertically and squeeze it gently to allow one drop of vaccine to fall into the chicken’s eye while making sure the drop of vaccine spreading over the surface of the eye before chicken is released.
